As other people answered, it is about 2 to 3 glasses in a bowl. I think that women are not too much. If it is a small meal, it may be better to make it a single item (A set) instead of a set meal (B set) with cooked and fruit. Even a single item will give you reddish and incense items
I paid in cash.
Is a place to try an authentic Japanese pot rice. The taste of the food was nice however it depends on ppl as some may found it blend as it did not add any spices. Only depend on the umami taste of the ingredient.
Fell in love with kamameshi the first time I tried it. Chanced upon this shop when searching for one that serves kamameshi and I must say it was a lucky find! It was so flavourful regardless the variety you pick (we tried both seafood and chicken). Come early before it opens to join the queue, otherwise, you may need to wait at least an hour or more for the first batch of customers to be out since it takes 20-30mins for each meal to be served given that it’s freshly cooked upon order. The restaurant is already as efficient as it can get since it takes your orders while you are still in the queue to shorten the wait time.
A very popular local restaurant in Nara but I can tell why it’s set apart from others. The portion of a serving looks small at first, but it’s actually more than enough once you dig in. Totally worth the queue.
Excellent alternative for having a great meal after visiting the Nara forest.
Long queue to seat a group both worth the wait
Visited in December and a great restaurant with special home made rice pot with fresh ingredients and great taste. Though waited for long (45+ min), the food is worth for waiting outside in the cold. Making it extra tasty and perfect for the season.
It was worth the wait! One of the best meals I had in Japan.
Lovely service and food. I had a group from Singapore
Great dish. Staff speak good English
Loved the crab flesh ^^ plus mark for it instead of crabstick. Would b 5 stars if not over burnt.. mine was way burnt. Brown was right. Mine was black 😅
Big queue! Food and staff were friendly and nice
It’s blend to me, or tasteless to some people who are used to other types of Asian cuisines. Large portion, reasonable price. At least 1 hour in queue.
Special Japanese pot rice that worth a try. I've tried the oyster rice which is delicious especially the rice crisp up over time. It's like the korean bibimbap with a milder taste. The rice is topped with fresh seafood and it goes along with the condiments like pickled radish.
